The “Jubilee of the 1st Saturdays of Fatima” kicked off at the Chapelle de la Médaille Miraculeuse in Paris on Saturday January 4, 2025. Despite the vacations, the chapel was packed and the faithful responded to Our Lady’s call.
An exceptional choir supported the prayers of the faithful. Mass began at 2.30pm, followed by the rosary (joyful mysteries) with the sisters of rue du Bac, and 15 minutes of silent meditation on the mystery of the Visitation.
It was important to start this Jubilee in this place, as it is the first step towards the Fatima request. Our Lady asked that her Heart be placed next to the Heart of Jesus on the Miraculous Medal. St. Jacinta of Fatima said in 1917: “The Heart of Jesus wants us to venerate the Immaculate Heart of Mary next to Him. The apparitions of the Miraculous Medal lead us to Fatima.
